Simmonds (personal) will be added to the active roster Friday, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.
Simmonds was designated as a non-roster player due to personal reasons Thursday, but he's rejoined the team for practice Friday and will presumably be an option for Saturday's matchup with Nashville. The 33-year-old vet has picked up 14 points through 57 games this campaign.
