Sekera picked up two assists -- one on the power play -- during Thursday's 6-3 win over Winnipeg.

It was Sekera's first multi-point outing of the year and it was only a matter of time until he benefitted from the Oilers' high-powered offense. Edmonton has scored five-plus goals four times in the past seven games, and while the blueliner isn't a lethal threat with the puck, he's still on ice for over 20 minutes per game. The 30-year-old may not return to the 40-point days -- reached once with the Hurricanes -- but he still has nine through 25 contests.
