Gleason was placed on waivers Tuesday for the purpose of assignment to AHL Bakersfield.
Gleason collected 10 goals and 32 points across 62 regular-season contests with AHL Bakersfield in 2023-24. The 26-year-old defender hasn't played in the NHL since making four appearances with Dallas in 2018-19. He will probably spend the entire 2024-25 campaign in the minors.
