Malone was brought up from AHL Bakersfield on Monday.
Malone will likely be a healthy scratch for Monday's matchup with Colorado, serving as an emergency depth option for the Oilers. If he does play, it would likely come at the expense of Josh Archibald unless there is an injured forward. Even when he does play, Malone's minutes will likely be limited, so fantasy players shouldn't be expecting much out of him.
