Oilers' Brandon Manning: Waived by Edmonton

The Oilers placed Manning on waivers Saturday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Manning has been a healthy scratch for 18 consecutive contests, so this move hardly comes as a surprise. It wouldn't be shocking to see the 29-year-old blueliner back with the big club later this season, but he won't have any fantasy value in 2019-20.
