The Oilers reassigned Marody to AHL Bakersfield on Friday.
Marody has been a healthy scratch for Edmonton's last four contests, so this move doesn't come as much of a surprise. The 21-year-old pivot will return to a prominent role with Bakersfield, where he's racked up two goals and six points in five appearances this campaign.
