Samorukov agreed to terms on a one-year deal with CSKA Moscow on Friday, Sport-Express.ru reports.

Samorukov managed a mere 10 points in 47 outings with AHL Bakersfield this season as he struggled to translate his offensive game to the professional ranks. Selected by the Oilers in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft, the 20-year-old blueliner still has two more years left on his entry-level deal to try and make his return to North America as well as his NHL debut.
