Wells was an emergency recall with Mikko Koskinen (not injury related) missing Thursday's game against Montreal. The 23-year-old netminder likely won't see any NHL action in 2020-21 -- he's yet to make his debut. He recorded a 3.77 GAA and .878 save percentage in seven AHL games last season.
