Cody Ceci (COVID-19 protocols) and Duncan Keith (upper body) both appear to be on track to miss Wednesday's game versus Pittsburgh, so Niemelainen could make his NHL debut against the Penguins. Niemelainen's picked up three points through 14 AHL appearances this year.
