Nugent-Hopkins (COVID-19 protocols) exited the league's protocols and is expected to suit up against St. Louis on Wednesday, Tony Brar of Oilers' TV reports.
Nugent-Hopkins was rolling prior to entering the NHL's COVID-19 protocols with two goals and four assists in his previous nine contests, including a pair for power-play helpers. The 28-year-old winger should immediately jump into a top-six role while also joining Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl on the No. 1 power-play unit.
