The Oilers placed Koekkoek (lower body) on injured reserve Friday.

The defenseman exited Thursday's game against Winnipeg and will be sidelined at least until the Nov. 27 showdown in Vegas. Koekkoek has tallied one assist and no goals while averaging 9:48 of ice time over 11 contests this season.
