Schwindt was sent down to AHL Charlotte on Friday, David Dwork of Local 10 Miami reports.

Schwindt made his NHL debut Thursday versus the Kings, logging five hits and a minus-2 rating in 9:27 of ice time. With the Panthers' season now paused, he'll continue to get playing time with the Checkers.
