Panthers' Matt Kiersted: Joins taxi squad

The Panthers assigned Kiersted to the taxi squad Friday.

Kiersted returned to AHL Charlotte on Dec. 17 after playing one game and recording an assist in his most recent NHL stint. The 23-year-old could rejoin the Panthers if any regular defenseman enter COVID-19 protocols or get injured.
