Panthers' Roberto Luongo: Available for Vegas

Luongo (lower body) was left unprotected by the Panthers for the expansion draft Wednesday, TSN reports.

Given his age, it would be surprising if the Golden Knights selected him in the draft, especially with a number of more appealing goalies available for them. He remains under contract with the Panthers through 2021-22 (his age 42 season), another reason he's likely to be avoided Wednesday evening.
