Knight will start the Panthers' preseason opener Sunday at home against the Predators, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.
Per Richards, Knight will start the first 30 minutes Sunday before Cooper Black takes over in the second half. Knight went 9-8-3 in the 2022-23 season with a .901 save percentage and 3.18 GAA. The 23-year-old netminder is expected to back up Sergei Bobrovsky this year after spending the 2023-24 campaign in the minors.
