McGinn (upper body) was able to resume stickhandling with both hands Tuesday, Dave Molinari of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
While it's clearly a step in the right direction for McGinn, he remains on the shelf ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Rangers. Even once cleared to play, the 28-year-old winger is far from a lock for the lineup following the addition of Rickard Rakell and the emergence of Radim Zohorna.
