Penguins' Casey DeSmith: Unavailable Thursday

DeSmtih (lower body) will not be in the lineup against the Rangers on Thursday.

Coach Mike Sullivan still classified DeSmtih as day-to-day but his absence will force Louis Domingue to make his first career postseason start. If Tristan Jarry (foot) is still sidelined when DeSmtih is cleared to play, the 30-year-old New Hampshire native should be the preferred option between the pipes.
