Penguins' Chris Kunitz: Surprising offense helps Monday

Kunitz continued his offensive onslaught Monday, scoring one goal while assisting on another in a 6-2 victory over Anaheim.

He's scored five goals and seven assists in his last nine contests, participating with Sidney Crosby in the team's offensive surge. Kunitz has also registered a plus-13 rating in those same nine games. The 36-year-old has no business scoring at a rate typically reserved for elite performers, but his resurgence needs to play itself out. He's riding Crosby's coattails better than he has in years.
