Simon contributed an assist and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Devils.
Simon set up Mike Matheson for what was the game-winning goal midway through the third period. The 27-year-old Simon saw just 6:50 of ice time in the close contest. The helper snapped his 18-game point drought, which dated back to Oct. 23. With five points, 31 shots on net, 18 hits and eight PIM through 24 contests, fantasy managers have little reason to track Simon's progress this year.
