Rodrigues tallied an empty-net goal on three shots and added a pair of hits Tuesday in a 6-2 victory over the Lightning. He also won seven of 11 faceoffs (63.6 percent).

Rodrigues buried an empty-netter from his own zone, giving the Penguins a 5-2 cushion with 2:25 left in the third period. Rodrigues centered Pittsburgh's second line between Jason Zucker and Kasperi Kapanen, providing just under 17 minutes of ice time and solid work in the faceoff circle.
