Malkin scored the deciding shootout goal Wednesday in a 2-1 win over Calgary.
It was a beautiful backhand move that froze Dan Vladar. Unfortunately, Malkin had his point streak end at seven games (three goals, five assists), but he delivered three shots and two hits on the night. He has 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) in 20 games this season.
