Ivany signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Penguins on Saturday.
Ivany was a senior at Boston College in 2021-22, racking up four goals and 24 points through 35 contests. The 23-year-old defender will likely spend most of the 2022-23 campaign with Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate.
