Zohorna was recalled to Pittsburgh's taxi squad Friday.
Zohorna racked up two goals and two assists in eight games for the Penguins last season but has spent the entirety of the 2021-22 campaign in the minors thus far. In 21 minor-league outings, the 25-year-old Czech has recorded four goals and five helpers. The towering winger could be in line for a spot on the active roster against San Jose on Sunday given the number of Penguins currently in the league's COVID-19 protocols.
