Rakell (upper body) is slated to play in Tuesday's clash with the Blue Jackets, Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Rakell is expected to link up with Evgeni Malkin on the Penguins' second line, though the team only held an optional skate ahead of the matchup with Columbus. After missing the 20-goal mark in each of the previous three seasons, Rakell is poised to get back over that threshold as he currently sits with 16 tallies and will no doubt benefit from playing with a world-class center like Malkin.
