Crosby scored his 500th career goal in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Flyers. In addition, he picked up an assist as well, both scored with the man advantage.
In addition to being Crosby's 500th career goal, it was also his 50th goal against Philadelphia, far and away the most he's scored against any other team in the NHL. The future Hall of Famer extended his point streak to seven games with the performance, and Crosby has racked up three goals and 12 points during that stretch with most of the production (three tallies, five helpers) coming on the power play. At 34 years old, Crosby shows no signs of slowing down.
