Girardi managed just four goals and 11 assists while going plus-8 over 63 games this past season.

The veteran blueliner saw his lowest average ice time (19:06) since his rookie season, continuing his pattern of steady decline. Girardi's still willing to put his body in front of plenty of pucks and get tough to protect his goalie, but his near-total lack of offensive ability makes him a fantasy liability, and his decreasing usage seems to indicate that all that physical play has taken its toll over the years.
