Shesterkin (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
The Russian netminder missed eight games with the injury but is now good to go. It's unclear if he'll start the team's next scheduled game against Montreal on Wednesday, though. Shesterkin still owns a five-game winning streak and won eight of his last nine games prior to the injury.
