Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Designated for taxi squad

Shesterkin was reassigned to the taxi squad Monday, CapFriendly reports.

Shesterekin and the Rangers won't play again until Wednesday's matchup with the Flyers, which would explain the decision to flip Shesterkin and Keith Kinkaid. The 25-year-old Shesterkin figures to be back on the active roster and could even get the starting nod against Philadelphia.
