Shesterkin and the Rangers won't play Wednesday versus the Canadiens after the NHL suspended cross-border travel through the holiday break.
Shesterkin will probably appreciate the extra rest after being activated from injured reserve Saturday. He missed two weeks due to a lower-body injury. The Rangers' next game is scheduled for Dec. 27 versus the Red Wings.
