Rangers' J.T. Miller: Coach expresses optimism on Tuesday status

Miller (knee) has a "90-10" shot at playing in Tuesday night's game against Carolina, according to Rangers coach Alain Vigneault, the New York Daily News reports.

That's a significant improvement from the "50-50" designation Vigneault gave him Monday, so fantasy owners should feel optimistic as they keep an eye out for the 23-year-old during Tuesday's warm-ups. Miller skated Tuesday morning, contributing to the sense that he'll be available against the 'Canes. After playing in all 82 games last year, he hasn't yet missed any of the Rangers' 23 games this season, in which he's mid-breakout with 19 points accompanied by a plus-13 rating.
