Rempe was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Tuesday.
Rempe sat as a healthy scratch Monday against the Flames after receiving his first career promotion from the minors Saturday. The 2020 sixth-round pick has picked up eight goals and 12 points through 43 AHL appearances this year.
