Rangers' Matt Rempe: Shifts to IR

Rempe (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.

The Rangers recalled Connor Mackey from AHL Hartford in a corresponding move. Rempe is out indefinitely after being injured in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks on Oct. 23. He has provided one goal, eight shots on net, 30 hits and seven PIM across nine appearances this season.
