Barron was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Wednesday.
Barron hasn't provided much punch offensively (one point) in his 13 games with the big club this season, instead chipping in mostly in the physicality department (28 hits). The 6-foot-4 forward will head back to Hartford, where he'll look to add to his totals of nine goals and 14 points in 23 games this year.
