Glass cleared waivers on Wednesday and will be assigned to AHL Hartford, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Glass played in two games for the Rangers this season, where he did not score a point, picked up four penalty minutes and posted a plus-1 rating. In 66 games last season, Glass put up six points and 98 penalty minutes, giving a good snapshot of what he brings to the team. If the Rangers decide they need to bring back up their resident tough guy, Glass will find his way back to New York.
