Larkin picked up an assist Tuesday against Tampa, giving him points in three straight games to start the year.

He almost had two points in this one, as Larkin got away all by himself on a breakaway, only to shoot wide on Ben Bishop. Nonetheless, Larkin has been thriving in the early going, collecting four points so far; for that, he can give thanks to a good amount of time spent alongside Henrik Zetterberg. But that's not to take anything away from the Wings' first-round pick in 2014, who was an unstoppable force for the University of Michigan last year.
