Red Wings' Givani Smith: Shuffled to taxi squad

Smith was sent to the taxi squad Friday.

Smith has been a healthy scratch for all five of Detroit's games this season. He was expected to suit up Friday but the return of Darren Helm shifted him back to the press box. Expect Smith to continue to bounce between the taxi squad and active roster this season.
