Red Wings' Taro Hirose: Sent down to minors

Hirose was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Wednesday.

Hirose has no points, a hit and two blocks in three games with the Red Wings this season. At the AHL level in 2022-23, he's contributed 15 goals and 56 points in 69 outings with Grand Rapids.
