Davidson was promoted to the active roster Tuesday.
Henri Jokiharju was also promoted with Davidson, and one of the two blueliners -- or both -- will draw into the lineup for Tuesday's matchup against the Devils. Davidson has yet to post a point through five NHL games this year, though he has dished out 10 hits.
