Tokarski was promoted from AHL Rochester to Buffalo's taxi squad Tuesday.
Tokarski hasn't drawn into an NHL contest since 2016-17 and isn't expected to do so for the Sabres anytime soon. He has, however, posted an impressive 2.51 GAA and .932 save percentage through two AHL appearances this season.
