Tokarski was hit in the face with a puck at Tuesday's practice session and was being evaluated by the medical staff, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Tokarski has started 11 of the Sabres' last 13 games and has cemented himself as the preferred option in the crease, at least until Craig Anderson (upper body) is cleared to play. In the meantime, if Tokarski is forced to miss any additional starts, Aaron Dell figures to step into the blue paint.
