Bryson was promoted to the active roster Saturday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
Bryson will skate next to Brandon Montour on the second pairing in Saturday's game versus the Islanders. The 23-year-old Bryson has played five games with the big club this year, recording no points, five hits and six blocked shots.
