Peterka was recalled by the Sabres on Tuesday.
The Sabres still have multiple forwards in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols, so Peterka will likely make his NHL debut Wednesday against New Jersey. The 2020 second-round pick has racked up 20 points through 23 AHL appearances this season.
