McLeod scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Penguins.
McLeod's Sabres career got off to a slow start with no points over his first three games. With the team's offense showing more life, he's picked up a goal and an assist over the last two contests while filling a third-line role with minimal power-play time. The 25-year-old center was acquired from Edmonton over the summer after racking up 30 points in 81 regular-season games in 2023-24. He should be able to produce at a similar rate this year.
