Girgensons, who suffered an upper-body injury Wednesday, is considered day-to-day, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports Friday.

Girgensons has four goals, 13 PIM, 54 hits and 18 blocks in 31 contests this season. Zach Benson might draw back into the lineup for Girgensons on Saturday versus San Jose.
