Forsberg will patrol the home crease versus the Penguins on Sunday, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Forsberg will start Sunday's contest before turning the net over to Leevi Merilainen. It will be Forsberg's second appearance of the preseason -- the Swede is projected to be Ottawa's No. 2 netminder this season behind countryman Linus Ullmark. Forsberg posted a record of 15-12-0 with an .890 save percentage and a 3.21 GAA in 30 regular-season appearances in 2023-24.
