Zub (upper body) was removed from injured reserve Friday, per CapFriendly.
Zub was expected to miss Saturday's tilt with the Devils but now it seems like he's ready to return from his nine-game absence. The 27-year-old blueliner scored three points in seven games prior to being injured. Nikita Zaitsev was reassigned to AHL Belleville to clear a roster spot.
