Brassard (undisclosed) did not finish Sunday's Game 5 loss to Pittsburgh due to rest and is expected to be ready to suit up for Tuesday's Game 6 in Ottawa, Brent Wallace of TSN reports.
While the hit on Brassard was certainly pretty brutal, it doesn't seem that it caused a severe enough injury for the 29-year-old to sit out Tuesday's elimination game. Brassard finished his afternoon with two shots on goal in 10:21 of ice time, including 1:03 on the power play.
