Brown (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per the NHL media site.
Now that he's been moved to IR, Brown will miss the Senators' next five games at a minimum. The 27-year-old blueliner has gone scoreless while posting a minus-5 rating through 12 contests this season, so his absence will undoubtedly go unnoticed in most fantasy circles.
