Murray cleared waivers and was assigned to AHL Belleville on Sunday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Murray was waived Saturday after posting a 3.27 GAA and .890 save percentage while going 0-5 to start the season. It remains to be seen whether he gets another NHL opportunity this year, but the numbers don't inspire much confidence in his ability to become a trustworthy fantasy option.
