Senators' Mike Hoffman: Planning to file for arbitration

Hoffman will file for arbitration Tuesday, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Hoffman could still reach a deal with the Senators even after the Tuesday deadline, but it seems as though for now that negotiations have reached an impasse. In terms of fantasy value, the winger has had two fantastic seasons, 48 and 59 points in 2014-15 and 2015-16 respectively, and even a prolonged contract dispute should have little impact on the 26-year-old's on ice productivity.
